Solano County Probation Department Pretrial Services

The Solano County Probation Department Pretrial Services program began in April of 2015.  The main goals of the program are to:

  • maximize public safety
  • ensure individuals appear at scheduled court hearings
  • provide information to assist judicial decisions

Once granted a pretrial release by the court, Deputy Probation Officers supervise individuals according to the court-ordered terms and conditions of their release to the Pretrial Program.

The program utilizes the
Ohio Risk Assessment System - Pretrial Assessment Tool (ORAS-PAT) to assess an individual’s level of risk for pretrial failure-to-appear and re-arrest.  Every three years the ORAS-PAT is validated and a Pretrial Risk Assessment Report is posted on our
website.
