Pet Licensing

Did you know dog licenses and rabies vaccinations are required by the State of CA & County Ordinance? (See flier below for more information) Also, making sure your pet has a proper license – worn on his/her collar – is one of the best ways to help him/her get home if they ever get lost. DocuPet makes licensing your pets fast and easy! Please note that altering (spay/neuter) your pet reduces the price for licensing. In addition, did you know spay and neutering your pet can reduce the risk of many diseases and increase the life of your best friend?

Pet licenses just got an upgrade.  As of July 30, 2024, we are excited to announce our new partnership with DocuPet to offer digital license tags to Solano County residents! With these new tags, you will receive an optional benefit to be able to store your dog's critical information on a FREE online profile as well as have access to a multitude of lost pet recovery services should your pet ever go missing.

Please note: If you have licensed your pet previously, you will need to create a new account with DocuPet.
