- Solano County currently offers Mental Health First Aid training to provide education to the community at large about the identification of mental health conditions and how to respond. The training also supports suicide prevention efforts.
- The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Solano County operates the Family and Peer Support program, which supports advocacy efforts of individuals with mental illness and their family members through workshops and training to the local community.
- The Mental Health and Spirituality Initiative partners with leaders in the local African American faith community to increase understanding and collaboration, and to create Mental Health-friendly communities to support individuals with mental illness and their families.
- Solano County continues to promote the Each Mind Matters "May is Mental Health Month Awareness" campaign locally.
