Energy Upgrade California is offering rebates and free consulting for energy savings for property owners of single-family and multi-family dwellings through the Bay Area Regional Energy Network (BayREN) program:

The City of Suisun City administers the BayREN Program on behalf of the cities of Benicia, Dixon, Fairfield, Rio Vista, Suisun City, Vacaville, Vallejo and unincorporated Solano County.

Home Upgrade, the Single-Family component of the program helps property owners identify ways to strengthen their home’s energy efficiency.

Solano homeowners are invited to attend free homeowner workshops hosted by Solano BayREN to learn how a home upgrade can:

The Multi-Family component
is open to multi-family properties with five or more attached units.  Work with the free consultant to customize a package of improvements that are expected to save 10 percent or more a multi-family’s whole building energy use.

The program assists in planning energy saving improvements designed to help bring down the cost of an upgrade by 20 to 40 percent.

The Codes and Standards component is for cities and county agencies of the program as a joint effort of Bay Area cities and counties to achieve full compliance within their jurisdiction with the provisions of the California Energy Code.
