When do I need sexually transmitted infection/disease (STI/STD) testing?

In accordance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), it is recommended that sexually active women and transmen, under age 25, be tested for chlamydia and gonorrhea every year. CDC also recommends getting tested for sexually transmitted infections if you have:

·         symptoms of any STI/STD

·         a new sex partner since your last STI/STD screening

·         more than one sex partner

·         a sex partner who has more than one sex partner
