All protected individuals within the EEO Policy are strongly recommended to immediately report any suspected violation of this policy to either their supervisor, any supervisor/manager in the department, the EEO Office, or the County Civil Service Commission. The Complainant will likely be asked to complete, sign and submit the County's Complaint Form.
Complaints meeting the criteria for harassment, discrimination, or any other potential violation of the EEO Policy, will be investigated by a neutral, qualified party. Investigations typically include witness interviews and review of supporting documentation. At the conclusion of the investigation, letters will be sent out to the complainant and the subject that the investigation has been completed and the findings of the investigation.
