Updated Fire Hazard Severity Zone Maps

On February 24, 2025, The Office of the State Fire Marshal (OSFM) released updated Fire Hazard Severity Zone (FHSZ) maps for Local Responsibility Areas (LRA) in Solano County.

As required by OSFM, Solano County shall adopt these new maps within 120 days of release. After adoption, Solano County will enforce requirements for building construction in the LRA in unincorporated areas of the County. Requirements for construction in State Responsibility Areas (SRA) did not change and continue to be enforced.
