Here you will find helpful information regarding In-Home Supportive Services, the In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority Advisory Committee, and information about the Public Authority Registry.

The Solano County IHSS Public Authority was established by the Board of Supervisors in 2003 as a program of the Health and Social Services Department within the continuum of care to help elderly and disabled adults and children remain safely in their homes with support from caregivers. The IHSS Public Authority serves as the employer of record for all IHSS caregivers to negotiate wages, provides training and administer benefits, and also provides services to help IHSS consumers hire quality caregivers.
