To help cardholders better protect their EBT account(s) and benefits, the State of California launched a new tool in November 2023. The free ebtEDGE Mobile and Web-based App may be used to help manage your CalFresh and/or Cash benefit account(s),  check your balances, and review transactions.  The app offers new security features such as PIN changes, the ability to freeze cards when not in use, and to block out-of-state transactions.
