As the Health Service Manager for Correctional Health Care Services, George is the Sheriff’s Office liaison for the contracted medical service provider.  His daily interaction with the Custody Division and the contractor is to ensure health care standards needs are provided to the incarcerated population, while embedding the culture of process improvement.

George has over 20 years of experience involving direct patient care and the administration of clinical/hospital operations, which was a result of having served in the military.  Upon separating from the service, George was a Public Health Administrator in West Virginia.  Prior to his assignment at the Solano County Sheriff’s Office, George was assigned as an Advanced Medical Support under the Nursing Services with the Veterans Health Administration.

George received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Healthcare Management, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration specializing in Health Services and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration.
