Erika Manuel began her career with Solano County in November 2016 as an Accounting Clerk II with Health and Social Services, Fiscal Issuance unit and was transferred to the PFM-Social Services team after a couple of months. In May 2017, she was promoted to Accounting Technician in the Public Guardian unit where she performed full-cycle bookkeeping duties for Public Guardian/Public Administrator clients. She was promoted to Accounting Supervisor of the Auditor-Controller department in April 2020 where she provided fiscal oversight of the General Accounting division and served as the primary liaison of the division to county departments and outside agencies for general accounting concerns. In March 2021, she was promoted to the position of Accountant-Auditor I in the Financial Reporting division where she served as a vital part of year-end activities such as account balances review, contract analysis, fund monitoring, and general ledger review.

As the Staff Analyst, Erika provides budgetary and fiscal oversight, contract development, monitoring and legislative analysis for Administration, Compliance, and Office of Emergency Services divisions.

Erika received college credits for Bachelor of Science in Computer Management in the Philippines before moving to the United States in 2007; she then obtained her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from University of Phoenix in September 2020.
