SOLANO COUNTY – Solano County officials have selected Sandra Dalida as the new Assistant Director of Health and Social Services.  Starting Feb. 9, she will assume a leadership role over Solano County's largest and most comprehensive public service agency.

Ms. Dalida, who most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer in Santa Clara County Social Services Agency, will help administer a $289 million budget and provide oversight to ensure the department promotes cost-effective services, which safeguard the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of the people of Solano County.

In addition to her public sector experience, Ms. Dalida has a strong background in health care with Kaiser Permanente, having directed a nationwide business process change of financial integration and consolidation for the nation’s largest non-profit health care organization.

"We are pleased to welcome Sandra to the Health and Social Services team," says Jerry Huber, Director of Solano County Health and Social Services.  “Her commitment to ethics, excellence and empowerment will serve to increase access for clients to programs and services we support in the community.”

Ms. Dalida was honored as the Business Woman of the Year by the National Association of Women Business Owners Silicon Valley, Hispanic Business News and Northern California Minority Supplier Diversity Council.
