Supervisors to receive update on Board priority areas

October 4, 2024

SOLANO COUNTY – On Tuesday, October 8, 2024, staff will host a facilitated Board Priority Workshop where Board members will receive an update on department workplans, and progress made in priority areas established last year.  The Board will also consider providing direction to staff in implementing Board priorities, with a focus on economic development and agriculture preservation and development.

Last year, on April 18, 2023, the Solano County Board of Supervisors hosted a Board priority setting session, giving Board members an opportunity to share and discuss their top priorities for the County.  During the meeting, Board members identified several topic areas, which were grouped into five major categories, including (1) economic development, (2) agriculture preservation and development, (3) housing, (4) County workforce development and (5) County services – regulations and policies.
