Join Solano Land Trust for the 16^th Annual Lynch Canyon Kite Festival! The Kite Festival, which takes place on Saturday, May 4^th from 10am to 2pm at Lynch Canyon Open Space, is a free event open to everyone!

We invite you to bring your own kite, or you can purchase one at the festival from Old City Kites. You’ll also see the gigantic kites trucked in by Central Valley Kite Flyers soaring over the hills!

For lunch, the DogFather food truck will be selling gourmet hot dogs, or you can bring a picnic lunch to enjoy. Please also bring water as there is no available drinking water at the park. Make sure to bring weather protection and boots or sturdy closed-toed shoes as parts of the ground may be uneven.

It is our hope that working alongside consumers, peers, county and contractor staff, community members and partners we will achieve our goals of producing equitable outcomes for all the populations we serve.

Online meetings are held monthly on Zoom with multi-sector participation including behavioral health providers, law enforcement, health providers, faith-based partners, education partners, consumers and family members with lived experience, etc. Additionally, sub-committees are held throughout the year to work on special projects. Land Use and Transportation Committee (LUTC)

The LUTC addresses transportation and land use issues affecting Solano County including issues related to implementation of the General Plan and Zoning Code, construction of roadways, protection of agriculture, and projects pertaining to the Delta, water supply, and other infrastructure.
