County offers Free child support modification drop-in sessions at Fairfield library through February, 2018

SOLANO COUNTY – The Department of Child Support Services (DCSS) is offering free child support one-on-one drop-in sessions for the public in December, 2017 and January and February, 2018 at the Fairfield Civic Center Library, 1150 Kentucky Street, Fairfield.

The drop-in sessions are designed specifically to assist parents whose situations may have changed, requiring them to change the amount they pay in child support.  Case managers will discuss and explain the process of modifying a court order for child support; including how to request one, and, if eligible, what to expect during the modification process.

Individual assistance is available and no appointments are necessary.  Drop-ins are first come, first serve between 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. on the following dates, including:

- Tuesday, December 26, 2017
- Tuesday, January 23, 2018
- Tuesday, February 27, 2018
