County issues proclamation of local emergency resolution in response to winter storm damage

SOLANO COUNTY – The Solano County Administrator signed a Proclamation of Local Emergency today in response to winter storm damage incurred in the unincorporated areas of the County.  The storm has caused flooding, mudslides, slippages and damage to roads and levees during a series of weather events between January 9 – 12, 2017.

As the acting Incident Commander for Emergency Services, the County Administrator determined it necessary to proclaim a local emergency at this time so that the County can take advantage of any disaster funding that may become available in the future.
