How do I get to the nearest county park?
Lake Solano Park is located at 8685 Pleasants Valley Road near Winters. You go I-80 to I-505 then take Hwy 128 toward Winters. Continue on Hwy 128 to Pleasants Valley Road. Turn left park is across Putah Creek Bridge.
Sandy Beach Park is located at 2333 Beach Drive, Rio Vista. Take Hwy 12 to Rio Vista then go to 2nd Street. Continue on 2nd Street to end turn left on Beach Drive. Follow to end and park is located at end of Beach Drive.
Belden’s Landing Water Facility – 3186 Grizzly Island Road, Suisun City. Take Hwy 12 to Grizzly Island Road. Where Sunset Avenue comes into Hwy 12 in Suisun. Grizzly Island Road continues after Hwy 12 to the west. You continue down Grizzly Island Road for 5.5 miles to bridge. Park is on left side before going over bridge.
Lynch Canyon Open Space is located at 3100 Lynch Road. From Sacramento go I-80 to American Canyon near Vallejo. Take American Canyon Road across I-80, take the frontage road – McGary Road 1.7 miles to Lynch Road turn left. Park is located straight ahead.

How do I make camping reservations and group picnic areas for Lake Solano or Sandy Beach county parks?
To make reservations for Lake Solano call 530.795.2990.
To make camping reservations for Sandy Beach call 707.374.2097. Reservation requests are also referred to Park Ranger Supervisor, Ranger or Department Aide who is on duty at each park that day.

How do I obtain a storage area at Sandy Beach Park? How much does it cost?
The cost for storage at Sandy Beach Park is $40 a month. Go to Sandy Beach Park to fill out a form to get storage. You must fill out a form and register in order to get storage.

How long can I stay at a Solano County park?
You can stay at any of the Solano County parks for up to 14 days. After which you cannot return to any county park for a period of up to 30 days.

County park hours are usually 8 am to dusk, but vary by season and time of sunset. You need to contact each park individually for their specific hours. What are the fees associated with each Solano County park?
There is a $5 parking fee for visiting each park and additional fees for camping and large groups.

What do the annual parking passes cost?
Annual parking passes are for 12 months from time purchased and cost $80 for citizens not 65 years of age or disabled and $40 if you are 65 years or disabled.
