Director of Administrative Services

Lisa Donahue began her career with the Sheriff’s Office in 2014 as a Staff Analyst; was promoted to Senior Staff Analyst in June of 2019; and promoted to her current position as Director of Administrative Services in January of 2022.  Prior to joining the Sheriff’s Office, Lisa worked for 9 years in the County’s General Services Department supervising the County’s Mail Services, Inactive Records and Surplus Property programs.

As the Director of Administrative Services, Lisa is responsible for overseeing the departmental functions in areas of Budget and Fiscal Administration, Contract and Grant management and reporting, Animal Care Services, Employee Services, Records & Warrants, Civil Services and Technology functions.

Lisa previously served on the City of Fairfield’s Community Services Commission and City of Fairfield’s Planning Commission. She was a member of the Board of Directors for the Fairfield Community Services Foundation from 2010 until 2015, serving as President of the Board in 2014.

Lisa graduated from the University of California at Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Managerial Economics and a minor in History. A fifth generation Solano County resident and third generation Solano County employee, Lisa resides in Fairfield with her wife and their four sons.
