Solano County Suicide Prevention Strategic Plan

Solano County locally funds suicide prevention trainings such as safeTALK and ASIST for mental health providers, community partners, and the public. Local suicide prevention efforts are directed by a Suicide Prevention Committee, which is comprised of representatives from across a variety of organizations and communities.

Solano County Behavioral Health and the Suicide Prevention Committee recently engaged the community in a comprehensive planning process to develop the first countywide Suicide Prevention Strategic Plan. You can read the Suicide Prevention Strategic Plan by clicking on the icon below.

Solano County participates in statewide efforts for suicide prevention, which include campaigns such as "Know the Signs" and "Each Mind Matters".
